Balkan BBQ Skewers


  • Balkan Seasoning Mix
  • ⅓ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • ½ cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 3 red onions, cut into large pieces
  • 4 orange bell peppers, cut into squares
  • 2 zucchini, sliced
  • 1 eggplant, cut into large cubes
  • Protein of choice (Chicken, Tofu, Lamb) Optional to just do protein, the Balkan way!


  1. Chop all vegetables and arrange tightly onto two skewers. 
  2. Brush the skewers with some olive oil and sprinkle Balkan Seasoning Mix.
  3. Heat up the grill on medium heat and cook until nicely charred.
  4. Garnish with parsley (optional). Serve immediately while hot.
